The Services We Offer

We are proud to offer our Long Beach patients the most advanced approaches to corrective eye surgery. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the services below and reach out with any questions you may have. During your private consultation, Dr. Liu will help you determine which approach is best for you based on your vision, refractive error, corneal health, and more.

Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) is done to correct cataracts. During this surgery, Dr. Liu will remove your natural lens and implant an artificial intraocular lens (IOL).

PRK is another form of laser surgery, similar to LASIK and SMILE. During the procedure, Dr. Liu will carefully remove the outer layer of your cornea to reshape the tissue underneath and improve your vision.

LASIK is the most commonly performed corrective eye surgery. Using a laser, Dr. Liu will create the signature LASIK flap to change the shape of your cornea so that you can see clearly without corrective lenses.

With EVO ICL, Dr. Liu will improve your nearsightedness by implanting a special lens. It’s an appropriate solution for people with and without astigmatism. The lens can remain in place in perpetuity, but we can also remove it if necessary.

Beach Cities Laser Vision is the only practice in the area that offers the cutting-edge SMILE technique. It’s a laser surgery that reshapes your cornea without the flap that’s required with LASIK, resulting in a simpler procedure and recovery.
